Barbara Schuster habe ich kennengelernt, als ich an einem Kurs für Gebärdensprach teilgenommen habe. Sie ist Kursleiterin im Polycolleg in Wien und eine tolle Lehrerin. Barbara Schuster ist von Geburt an gehörlos, und dennoch multilingual. Neben österreichischer Gebärdensprache (ÖGS) gebärdet sie auch in italienischer, griechischer, und internationaler Gebärdensprache und diese Sprachen sind in keinster Weise identisch, es gibt auch in ÖGS verschiedenste Dialekte, wie z.B. Wienerisch, Tirolerisch…etc. Sie spricht außerdem Deutsch, Englisch und Italienisch und liest perfekt von den Lippen. Als sie mir Modell für dieses Portrait saß haben wir soviel getratscht, daß ich einige Stunden länger an dem Bild arbeiten mußte als vorgesehen ;-).

Thanks, the Theme is „Chateau“, but the picture is mine. It is part of a painting for a stage design, which I made for a theater.

I believe you have made some really fascinating points. Not too many others would actually think about this the direction you just did.
